Filed under: Pastel Raw Silk Ring Sling

Finally a new pastel for the Raw Silk ring Sling has been launched. Combine with light orange and cream white fabric, this ring sling really looks light and sweet and feminine with its V-shape tail.

Often, I come across mummies buying a ring sling for their men. I think every woman would love to have their child carried by their husband, but can a ring sling look good on men just like any other carrier?
This is how a Mama Patch worn by a dad, of course with the tail looping around the rings, creating a masculine look. (Also flower/embroidery design on tail is well hidden in the fabric).

Silk for Mama Patch Ring Sling again, how can I ever resist the beauty of these silk fabric?

Three pairs matching pastel to choose from

Beautiful embroidery borders
While shopping for new Shantung Silk color, I came across these beautiful fabric, the blended cotton silk, which is also label as Raw Silk. Unlike light weave raw silk scarf that I have, these blended raw silk has got a very strong weave, not to mention the beautiful strong color that you can see on my color chart below.
Comparison to the blended Shantung Fabric
Although it is a little bit thicker than the Shantung fabric I got earlier, it definitely feel very cooling to the skin. With a more distinguish weave appearance, this fabric is much more smoother and quite glossy. Very cottony feeling if you love the feel of cotton, and yet wants to enjoy the luxury of silk.
Matching with a pair of medium size aluminium rings (for easy adjustment) from slingrings.com, you can be assured that this beautiful fabric is very easy to adjust and holds your baby well in place.
But is silk slippery on the rings?
Tips: A very easy way to distinguish a good silk used is that it would not slip through although the aluminium rings.
